Turnkey firehouse constructed

A collaborative pilot project brought to a successful conclusion: As part of a first-time cooperation partnership between the municipality of Breidenbach and the Sparkasse Marburg-Biedenkopf savings bank, a new fire station was built in collaboration with C + P.

This project marks a first: It’s centered around the idea of the Sparkasse building a fire station that the municipality can then rent out over the next 25 years and subsequently take over as its owner. This novel idea not only resulted in an impressive building; it also serves as an example for many new projects moving forward.

An absolutely vital facility

Niederdieten residents can look forward to a new, state-of-the-art, multi-purpose fire house. But that’s not all – the building also serves us all: It’s the place to call in potentially life-threatening situations. As a result, the project had to meet special requirements, including offering the highest possible level of functionality to simplify the work of firefighters as much as possible.

From planning to turnkey project

C + P acted as general contractor for the project and designed and delivered a turnkey solution in just nine months of construction. C + P’s new modular “Fire Service” product line, which was completed at the same time, also made a major contribution to the successful conclusion of the project.
The Niederdieten fire department helped complete the line. As a result, the products were finalized with the help of the tangible and practical experience of the firefighters, ensuring their practicality in real-world scenarios.

We can and do realize projects all over the world – and in today’s digital world, many other companies can do the same. However, as a medium-sized company with its origins in Hesse, we’re always happy to receive projects from within the region. That’s why the neighborly relationship was one of the main aspects that attracted us to this project. This was particularly important due to the need for a thorough analysis of technical requirements and regulations within the fire department sector.
