Changing rooms & cloakroom area furniture
In January 2016, the Bucharest Thermal Springs opened in Romania, now among the largest thermal springs in Europe.
Romania, now among the largest thermal springs in Europe. Inspired by the Erding Thermal Springs in Germany, a wellness facility with a tropical feeling, the thermal springs were build on a surface area of 25,000m². C + P developed individualized, user-oriented furniture solutions for changing rooms, cloakroom and locker areas. In designing the interior, functionality and harmonious interplay with the one of a kind building architecture were of prime importance.
Interesting facts about the Bucharest Thermal Springs
This wellness facility is a national and internationally known ‘hot spot’ thanks to its central location. Henri Coandă as well as downtown Bucharest are just 10 minutes away by car. With more than 800,000 plants, the Bucharest Thermal Springs is also Romania's largest botanical garden, with its pleasant water temperature of 33°C and an air temperature of 29-30°C, it features a tropical flair all year round.
Three themed worlds for different target groups
The Bucharest Thermal Springs offers three themed worlds for the differing needs of its guests. Visitors can relax in the Jacuzzis and aromatherapy pools in the "The Palm". Six saunas, sunbathing lawns and massage areas invite guests to relax. In the spectacular swimming and sliding paradise, "Galaxy" families feel especially comfortable - the indoor and outdoor water slides are a thrill for young and old alike.
Innovative changing rooms, lockers and assembled box lockers
In harmony with the extraordinary design of the Bucharest Thermal Springs, C + P designed innovative and customer-specific product solutions for the changing rooms, cloakrooms and locker areas in multiple planning stages. Lockers and assembled box lockers in the Prefino series which were customized for the client ultimately won over the investor. The particularly robust steel construction and intelligent technology solutions offer cabinet users top comfort.
Changing rooms with practical features
The premium 'floating' changing rooms fit perfectly into the stylish spatial concept of the Thermal Springs. The dark wood decor of the changing rooms offers a nice contrast with the white doors and the rest of the setting. The indoor furniture delights with its integrate shelf with handkerchief and towel storage as well as a mirror with LED lighting. The increased distance between the changing rooms and floor also contributes to particularly efficient and easy cleaning.
Individual cabinets with technical details
All of the lockers and cloakroom lockers boast a manipulation-proof on-line closure system with a movement sensor: this ensures secure storage of personal effects and valuables. Integrated, sensor-driven LED lights offer optimal interior lighting. All of the cables are contained in sloping installation roofs of the cabinets and are thus invisible to the eye.
The resistant glass doors are especially robust and feature a flat exterior facade without visible fittings, thus making them a perfect complement to the sophisticated spatial concept of the cloakroom facility. Each of the 4,000 doors used is unique: ceramic digital imprinting on the outside of doors shows the "Venus" of the Bucharest Thermal Springs in various color tones with locker numbers. These details also highlight the uniqueness of the thermal springs.
Elegant lockers with comfortable marble bench
The two-story lockers from the Prefino series make ideal use of the storage space in the cloakroom facility and ensure ideal user capacity. The natural marble pedestals combine with the customer's natural marble bases to form a harmonious interplay of various components and materials. The marble bases bring out the elegant design of the interior furnishings and also serve as a practical bench.
Lockers with wireless charging and more
All of the lockers for personal valuables are further enhanced with details. Wireless charging of smart phones is made possible with wireless charging modules: guests can conveniently charge their smart phones during their stay and then use them with a full charge. In addition, sockets with USB ports can be used to charge other technical devices.
Optimal air circulation of the cabinet compartments
Warm air flows through the bases behind the lockers to optimally ventilate the individual cabinet compartments. Built-in openings in the cabinets' rear walls thus provide for optimal air circulation indoors. Integrated clothing hooks and a sensor-driven lighting strop complete the interior design.
