There are virtually no limits when it comes to what our SmartLockers can do: We equip entire offices, including break rooms and staff lounges, with our solutions. Our SmartLockers have also become an indispensable part of the public sector as well, e.g. in hotels, restaurants or health and care facilities. FAQs – Frequently asked questions

Basically: You can store whatever you like. In general, our customers store valuable items such as laptops, tablets or expensive tools in them. However, they are also ideal for storing work clothes and athletic gear.

The lockers are generally 1.95 m or 2.10 m high, 40 cm or 80 cm wide and 50 cm or 60 cm deep (depending on the series). The compartments come in a range of different door heights: XS (14.7 cm), S (22.2 cm), S/M (29.7 cm), M/S (35.7 cm), M (44.7 cm), L (59.7 cm), XL (89.7 cm) and XXL (179.7 cm) (depending on the series).

Each compartment requires about 1 watt of power and approximately 100 watts for the display and mini controllers. The latter operate via 4G, WiFi or LAN as standard. If no display is included, you will need a LAN network (or, optionally, 4G).

Easily via Plug & Play. This means: Connect the power, connect to a network and you’re done. We offer remote training courses to teach your personnel how to manage the lockers remotely – we can also provide you with on-site training if desired. Depending on your contract, you have the option of contacting our first-level support if you have any questions. And now it’s going to get a bit technical, but your IT staff will understand what we mean: A number of IT services are optionally available (API, integration, use cases with process flows).

There are several smart options for user operation: Either via a display integrated centrally on the locker, an 8-inch monitor, a QR code reader (and PIN code) or via a user app using the stationary mini controller. Whichever you prefer.

There are convenient options available to you here as well. Manage users and settings with ease via cloud-based software that meets all relevant legal requirements (GDPR/ISO 27001/PEN Test/Microsoft Azure security standards). The application allows you to import personal data using a CSV file, for instance. You can also request an on-demand interface designed to your specifications (e.g. to connect to an ERP system).

Except for outdoor systems, the lockers are delivered fully preassembled on an 18-meter truck. We’re also happy to assist you if you have special delivery requirements. Simply contact us, and we’ll work with you to find the best solution.

Ramp/curbside delivery is standard. However, you can also make contractual arrangements with us for other types of deliveries, and we will do our best to meet your needs.

We’re also happy to take care of this for you. Instead of standard delivery, just choose delivery to application area along with professional assembly by our service personnel. The locker systems are then completely installed, wired and handed over to you ready for use.

Of course. We’ll keep you informed of the delivery time for your new C + P SmartLocker. Please make sure we have your correct contact information including your delivery address and e-mail address. And if something comes up and you aren’t available, simply let us know so that we can find an alternative.

The basic fittings include: RFID Reader (MIFARE 13.56 MHz, MIFARE® Classic, MIFARE DESFire® 0.6/EV1) Other transponder types (LEGIC, etc.) are available on request.

The Stadtsparkasse uses the system in a variety of ways, from smart office lockers to flexible changing room lockers, to cover 80% of its storage space solutions. Employees can use their employee card or the native app to access their personal storage space and even open their changing room locker – all with just one system. In addition, the SmartLocker storage solutions are used for internal mail delivery, from controlling to the executive suite.

Innovative collection/drop-off stations in La Praille shopping centre set new standards

There are two pick-up/drop-off stations available at La Praille shopping mall, one of the largest shopping centres in Switzerland. These comprise a total of 58 compartments in various sizes and enable end customers to pick up goods around the clock, as well as offering a return option. Authentication for pick-up is currently carried out using a PIN and will be replaced by a QR code in the future.

Innovative collection/delivery system for leading laundry chain BubbleBox in Switzerland

The BubbleBox laundry chain, one of the largest in Switzerland, has now integrated pick-up/drop-off stations into its services. These consist of two stations with a total of 38 compartments in various sizes. Customers can pick up or drop off their garments around the clock. Pick-up is authenticated via QR code.

Efficient locker solution for Spot Groningen event hall with modern features

The Spot Groningen event hall has 500 lockers available for temporary storage of personal items such as handbags and backpacks. These lockers offer a secure and straightforward storage solution, accessible via credit card using the payment function at the terminal. The lockers can also be reserved via an app. The centralised, user-friendly locker management system makes organisation easy.

Akkurent's innovative tool rental service via handover stations in urban areas

To counteract the limited storage space in large cities, Akkurent offers a rental service via its transfer stations, where customers can rent tools online and then pick them up at the station.

Smart transfer station – PICARD optimises service for industrial customers

PICARD operates a 24/7 pick-up station to provide fast service to its customers, mainly large mechanical engineering and maintenance companies. This rapid availability is particularly important in the automotive supply industry, where machine downtime can be costly. The pick-up station has 24 compartments in various sizes and allows technicians to collect goods. The outdoor version of the station is particularly weather-resistant, UV-resistant and water-repellent. Authentication for collection is currently done via PIN and will be possible via a QR code in the future.

WÜRTH improves customer service with 24/7 pick-up/drop-off stations for tools and building materials

WÜRTH, one of the largest retailers of tools and building materials in Switzerland, offers pick-up/drop-off stations consisting of five stations, each with eight compartments in various sizes. Fitters can pick up goods around the clock. The outdoor version is particularly weatherproof, UV-resistant and water-repellent. Authentication is currently carried out via PIN, but in future this will be possible via QR codes.
