This day will be remembered and is also the starting point for the first steps into a new future for steel cabinets: we are talking about 22 March 2023. On this day, the new product series from C + P was presented in an unprecedented light together with Blaulichtkanal.
Blaulichtkanal is a motivated, experienced and almost investigative team of eight members, all of whom are at home in the fire service, rescue service and disaster control. Thanks to the purchase of C + P fire service lockers and the subsequent enthusiasm and promotion of these products, this partnership has already been in place for two years. Blaulichtkanal has set itself the task of opening people's minds, imparting knowledge and giving sensitive topics in society a new framework – through video, images and sound. C + P has once again teamed up with these experts for the world premiere to give the Stahlschrank PLUS series the stage it deserves.
With a strong connection to our region
The setting for this day is as unique as the entire team: the Carlshütte in the upper Lahn Valley. Founded in 1844 by Friedrich Carl Klein and dedicated to the production of pig iron and later cast iron products, the foundry is now one of the most historic buildings in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district. It is a place where every beam, every floorboard, and every piece of furniture is steeped in tradition and history. From the very beginning of the project, C + P knew that the new product series needed a location steeped in history – close to the home of the main factory in Breidenbach. The owner family was quickly enthusiastic about the film idea. ‘We are very grateful to Mrs. Ullrich for her support,’ said the C + P team. "The location is a jewel in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district. Investors, the community and the district should jointly use and promote the prominent location and history, according to the unanimous opinion.“
The new product series builds on the proven tradition of C + P steel cabinets and is now their logical further development – for even more comfort, durability, and individuality. With an eye to the future, C + P is particularly pleased about this milestone, which also marks a turning point in production technology. In 2025, the CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER Group will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
C + P is taking a new direction
The journey to date has been marked by numerous rounds of decision-making, countless meetings, intensive planning sessions, new ideas and finalised plans that were then rethought – until the result met the high standards and expectations: C + P decided, for good reason, to involve the market and all interested parties in this development even before the sales launch.
What can be expected in the future
Until the launch, C + P will continue to lift the curtain on various channels. The new wardrobe series, available in the ‘Basis PLUS’, ‘Classic PLUS’ and ‘Evolo PLUS’ versions, offers an unprecedented range of equipment and design options, allowing it to be perfectly adapted to the individual wishes of its users in terms of both function and style.
Behind-the-scenes insights
In addition to impressive images and video material, there will also be insights behind the scenes – with exciting interviews with key project participants and management personnel, including Tomas Kirschenfauth, Chairman of the Management Board. The new colour concept, which accompanies the market launch of the Steel Cabinet PLUS, will also be presented. Starting with the ‘natural’ green colour spectrum, through ‘invigorating’ blue tones, “warm” autumn colours and a ‘solid’ grey palette, to light pink, it not only offers all the latest trend colours, but also opens up fundamentally new possibilities for individual cabinet design.
